Words of Wisdom From an Unlikely Place

I was on my way to work today listening to the new album from Linkin Park and one of the songs really struck me. The name of the song is Iridescent and the message is to forget all of the pain and suffering you have gone through in your life and live life to the fullest.  I wanted to share the lyrics as I felt that maybe they would mean as much to someone else as they did to me. I hope you enjoy them, if you would like to hear the song click on this link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jpt7RJUGpdE

When you were standing in the wake of devastation
When you were waiting on the edge of the unknown
And with the cataclysm raining down
Your insides crying, “Save me now”
You were there, impossibly alone.

Do you feel cold and lost in desperation?
You build up hope, but failures all you’ve known.
Remember all the sadness and frustration
And let it go.
Let it go.

And in a burst of light that blinded every angel
As if the sky had blown the heavens into stars
You felt the gravity of tempered grace
Falling into empty space
With no one there to catch you in their arms.

Do you feel cold and lost in desperation?
You build up hope, but failures all you’ve known.
Remember all the sadness and frustration
And let it go.
Let it go.

Do you feel cold and lost in desperation?
You build up hope, but failures all you’ve known.
Remember all the sadness and frustration
And let it go.
Let it go.

Let it go.
Let it go.
Let it go.
Let it go.

Do you feel cold and lost in desperation?
You build up hope, but failures all you’ve known.
Remember all the sadness and frustration
And let it go.
Let it go.
